The Yealands Estate Single Block S1 Sauvignon Blanc was named the World’s Best Sauvignon Blanc at the International Wine Challenge, 2012.

On 9th November we are hosting a special wine dinner with Yealands. The menu has been devised by chef-patron Scott Goss to compliment the scope and versatility of the Yealands’ range. The evening will be co-hosted with Marco Brivio from Enotria & Coe wines who will introduce a wine pairing with each dish.

Autumn wine promotion at The Beacon

At The Beacon we are offering a complimentary bottle of house wine per couple dining from the Garden Kitchen daily menu. This offer is available Monday to Thursday for lunch or dinner until the end of November. Choose from dishes such as Roasted Butternut Squash & Sage, Burnt Goats Cheese or Fillet of Veal, Cauliflower Risotto and Glazed Onions. The menu changes weekly and is £23.5 for two courses and £26.5 for three courses. With a daily changing aperitif such as an olive oil washed Gin Mare and Artichoke Amaro and new ales of the week, dining at the garden kitchen this season is a veritable treat.
